-Inspired by the Como Park Conservatory in Saint Paul, MNThe parts used as the roofs for the wings are Treasure Chest Lids in Trans-Clear.+===Designer's Notes===
+The Conservatory was another of my very early micropolis builds. It was loosely inspired by the Como Park Conservatory in Saint Paul, Minnesota
 +
+I still like this build, though at the time we didn't have any trans clear tile, so almost the entire roof has exposed studs. These days I rarely leave exposed studs on buildings; it looks unfinished to me. Every now and then I think about going back and redoing the roof, but it hasn't happened yet.
 +
+I was looking for a way to make the roof curved, and finally settled on using trans clear treasure chest lids for the side wings. These work pretty well, I think, though they started my habit of using friction (rather than actually attaching studs) to hold some parts together. You do not want to turn this building upside down when it's in transit

-+When I built the main dome in the middle, we only had three of the four windows I wanted. I found a fourth one that, if you look closely, you can see actually contains the Death Star circling the moon of Endor. So in my head I think of this as the Death Star Conservatory.
